Ripley's Aquarium

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is one of the most visited aquarium in the United States and it is located in downtown Gatlinburg TN. Every one returns year after year to see this beautiful aquarium. It doesn’t matter what time of the year you visit because Ripley’s Aquarium is open 365 days a year.

Ripley’s Aquarium is a 1.4 million gallon aquarium that is home to eleven-foot sharks, gangly teeth, Indo-Pacific fish in Coral Reef, and over 8,000 other exotic sea creatures. Ripley’s Aquarium also has the world’s longest aquarium tunnel, which is an amazing 340 feet long. These are just some of the main attractions that await you at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.

While you’re at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smoky Mountains don’t forget to stop by the Shark Lagoon so you can physically interact with the sting rays at Touch-A-Ray-Bay. After seeing all of the fish species up close go to a public classroom to see one of Ripley’s narrated dive shows. Ripley’s Aquarium also has buffets so you can sit a spell. You can also stop by the gift shop to pick up some souvenirs to take back home with you.
