Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair

Gatlinburg Tennessee is known for many popular events and the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair is no exception. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair is one of the southeast’s most popular, and favorite events. Twice a year vendors get together to show off their wonderful displays of artwork. This yearly event has something to offer every age group. Promoters of the fair, Sam and Tracey Large, have developed a wonderful event that attracts the world’s finest artists. The vendors at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair not only have their artwork available for your viewing pleasure but the beautiful arts and crafts will be on sale for you to take home a memorable souvenir. At the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair not only can you enjoy viewing and purchasing beautiful artwork but you can stand by and watch as these popular vendors demonstrate their special skills. Art is not the only thing special about the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair, various musical shows are scheduled for the week. On July 18th through the 22nd you can enjoy music from Dennis Lee and his band; then as the week continues from July 23rd through July 27th with Keith Longbotham and band. Show times for the bluegrass bands are at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 PM daily and at 1:00 and 3:00 PM on Sundays. This wonderful music will just add to your Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair experience. The summer 2008 Craftsmen Fair is scheduled for July 18th through July 22nd. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair opens daily at 10:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM. Sundays the Craftsmen Fair is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Adult admission to the Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair is $5.00 and children 12 and under are free. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair is held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in downtown Gatlinburg TN at traffic light number eight.
